  • Super 8 refers to 8mm motion picture film made by Kodak. Popularized in the 70’s-80’s, Super 8 was used for home movies and independent films.

Fun fact: Your wedding will be shot on the same film stock that is still used in Hollywood by famous directors such as Christopher Nolan, Quentin Tarantino and Wes Anderson.

  • After exposing the film, it gets sent to a lab where the film is professionally developed and digitally scanned in 4k resolution.

Once scanned, I will color grade the film to match the aesthetic of your wedding, then edit the footage into a wedding film you'll never forget.

  • I'm a huge camera nerd and I love collecting 50-year-old relics of the past, cleaning them up and bringing them back to life. I have several professional Super 8 cameras made by companies such as Canon, Yashica, Braun Nizo and Beaulieu.

  • Although my Super 8 cameras have sound recording capabilities, they only work with a special film type that Kodak stopped making in the 90's. Instead of using audio, your Super 8 film will be paired with a carefully selected song that complements the pacing, emotion, and atmosphere of your day.

If you’re set on having audio recorded for speeches and vows, ask me about my camcorder add-on!

  • 16mm is Super 8’s big brother. It has the same texture and colors as Super 8, but with an overall more polished and cleaner look. 16mm is considered a professional film format and has been used for several famous movies and TV shows. Sex In The City, The Walking Dead, Gilmore Girls, Moonrise Kingdom, and Black Swan were all shot on 16mm film!
