16mm Wedding Films

Romantically Cinematic

Wider frame. Finer grain. Unmistakably stunning.

What makes 16mm so special?

16mm is the bridge between home movies and Hollywood productions. You’ve seen 16mm before in TV shows and movies such as (Moonrise Kingdom, Black Swan, The Walking Dead and Severance). It’s a professional format for the independent filmmaker and all lovers of cinema. 16mm motion picture film has the same colors and texture of Super 8, but with noticeably less grain, significantly sharper image, and an immersive wider picture.

Why choose 16mm for your wedding?

Digital is everywhere. In a world saturated with digital media, film stands out. 16mm is for couples who want a wedding video that doesn’t look like anyone else’s. Film is not as convenient as digital, there is a real cost and weight to every frame. And that extra effort shows. The results, are beautiful imagery that will have you coming back again and again.

Not all 16mm is the same.

Super 16 is a widescreen adaption of the standard 16mm film format. My cameras have been specially modified to shoot Super 16, offering a 30% larger image.

This means for each image,
you get a wider picture and higher resolution.

Creating an immersive feeling and cinematic look.
